Service Description

The Gersh Experience, is a one-of-a-kind post-secondary, transitional vocational and undergraduate program for students with neurobiological disorders such as Asperger's Syndrome, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Tourette's Syndrome, Anxiety Disorder, Biplar Disorder, Depression, Autism Spectrum Disorders and Nonverbal Learning Disabilities.

Gersh Academy is dedicated to creating a dynamic partnership among home, school and community. Their team understands, accepts and supports children by teaching them the way they learn. Their goal is to develop the whole child and teach them skills for everyday life. They provide a nurturing environment that allows students the opportunity to reach their full potential academically, socially and emotionally.

Beyond academics, their program will support their students in the ongoing development of their independent living skills and social skills by providing social outings and real life experiences. An outdoor wilderness program, modeled on the principles and activities from the most successful wilderness programs in the country, will be implemented to promote the life skills that their students need.
